MSU-IIT CRCY aims to create relevant projects for both the organization, the university and to the community they both serve. These projects aims to become not just an extra-curricular activities but as a co-curricular extension activities, sustainable and issue-centered projects; and relevant to our society today.

SAMBAYANIHAN! MSU-IIT BLOOD DONATION

Held every Friday every week inside the University campus, the MSU-IIT Blood Drive

being the first HEI in Mindanao to do a weekly voluntary blood donation. Every December, the “Sambayanihan sa IIT!” is a celebration in which a mass blood-letting action tries to collect 100 blood donations all at once.

This activity aims to promote gender and equality development by encouraging willing blood donation as a means of fostering peace in society.

RCY CORNER: LECTURE SERIES

is a lecture and discussion series put on by the CRCY that covers a variety of subjects to promote safety, health awareness, disaster preparedness, and other ideas connected to the services provided by the Philippine Red Cross. For students who are interested in topics like disaster preparedness, safety measures, and other ideas related to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the "RCY CORNER" will be a place for open and free talks that might also inspire more academic thought.

The RCY CORNER seeks to serve as a forum for open discussion and introductions. Through this project, MSU-IIT CRCY can provide the Philippine Red Cross Youth with an alternative viewpoint to our current operations, which primarily consist of personnel support and first-aid stations. The goal of this initiative is to spark our students' interest in ideas and subjects, which will enable them to use these as study topics and connect them to their respective academic fields. The lecture also highlights the significant role of cultural and indigenous medicinal ways as part of integral knowledge in understanding safety in general.

KWENTOMIKS

Is the outlet for creativity for the members who are drawn to penning stories and comics. Through this project, the CRCY is able to emphasize the value of literacy for resilience.

The Council's extension initiatives will make use of the project's results.

PLANTANIM

is a CRCY initiative for a campus community garden. The second Sustainable Development Goal is the focus of this project. It supports the University's efforts to cultivate a feeling of group initiative through gardening. The goal of this urban gardening project is also to provide the university with wholesome food and emergency supplies. During harvest time, there will be an "Open Harvest Season" that will be made available to the University.
